In order to meet UL requirements, the facility of the Alarm Control Center meets stringent requirements, with a full-time UPS battery backup and a natural gas backup generator.  Arrangements have been made with our local utilities company so that our company will be placed on their Priority Service List in the event of loss of AC power confined to our central station location or a citywide outage/catastrophe.  This listing includes our local police and fire stations, as well as hospitals and EMT units.  The Alarm Control Center is also on a similar listing with the local phone company.

Being a UL central station, our facility is required to meet certain structural and functional requirements.  Below is a list of some of those requirements that we meet or exceed:

• Full online UPS backup to our central station
• Standby Natural Gas Generator - tested weekly
• Extremely secure building protected by security, fire, access control and cctv systems
• Contingency plans for emergency situations documented and tested regularly
• Regular monthly training for all of our operators on all of our systems
